Guide til en proces

Undervejs i den iterative proces kan man med fordel benytte fire udsagn som man forholder sig til som man bevæger sig igennem processen: få viden, kig, spørg og afprøv!

De fire udsagn beskrives herunder med forslag til hjælpespørgsmål og metoder under hvert udsagn.

FÅ VIDEN: LAV RESEARCH

1. Grounding: hvad er ideen og i hvilke situationer vil det give mening at inddrage brugernes behov og viden?
Undgå at lave research, der fortæller os, hvad vi allerede ved. Brug det til at fortælle jer, hvad I ikke ved

2. Hvem er brugerne i dette projekt?

Det er en fordel at skelne mellem brugerne.
1) Den passive bruger - bruger blot biblioteket og kommer ikke med input
2) Brugeren som giver feedback
3) Brugeren som selv laver innovation (bibliotekr.dk, bogurl.dk og lignende). Har en specifik viden om emnet og giver engagement og personligt bidrag. Er på forkant med udviklingen. Har en grund til selv at innovere. Det er lead userne, der kan hjælpe biblitoekerne med at spotte, hvad andre brugere vil have af behov i fremtiden.

3. Hvilke trends er der indenfor dette område?

4. Hvad ved vi allerede om brugerne? Er der lead users på dette område?

5. Indlevelse i brugernes verden: feltstudier, observationer, interviews
6. Brainstorm eller idegenerering

7. Hurtige prototyper/Rapid prototyping - udvikling sammen med brugerne. Hvordan denne fase skal tilrettelægges afhænger af, hvilken brugertype, man arbejder med: almindelige brugere eller leadusers?

EKSEKVERING:
8. Eksekvering/implementering (Omsætningsmetoder) - det kan være at omsætte brugernes behov til et design.
